On Friday we headed down to the lake for a weekend of peace and quiet. Lily was a champ in the car and slept, ate and watched movies both there and back. At the lake she had fun playing with the dogs (and loudly pointing them all out to everyone) and going on the pontoon boat. She also enjoyed bunking with Mom & Dad on the floor of their room. No crib ... just a crib mattress. We awoke early Saturday morning to find Lily's leg sticking out from under our bed as she rolled underneath while sleeping ... she just won't lie still.
That is about all. We are all looking forward to a weekend at home (where we are all healthy). Despite my best efforts to convey and record what happens each week in this blog (it has been a great baby book and I look back to last year and I am thankful that we have persevered), neither Marcy or I have reflected often enough about how lucky we are to have such a precocious, personable and most importantly, healthy baby. Sometimes in the day to day activities of getting ready for school, making meals and entertaining and teaching her life lessons (like, no, you cannot through your milk and placemat on the floor at every meal) we can forget to thank our lucky stars and appreciate how fortunate we have been. So thank you lucky stars - we are exceedingly grateful.
Enjoy the pics and video - more dancing for you fans of disco.

We are very lucky, and very grateful, to have the lilster in our lives. Tuesday mornings are my favorite time of the week. Kisses and hugs to all. e.
That bikini is ....there are just no words...does Lily wear a bikini diaper? Looks like fun at the lake...best wishes to Grandpa Tom...the dancing on the video is so cute....love you, d
Atleast you were able to find Lily after she rolled under the bed. Lily must take after those (Emilie) who have rolled under the bed before her (circa 20 years ago), but were not so easy to find. It's ok, it's not like mom panicked when she couldn't find Emilie...
i totally forgot that i too had rolled under the bed at one time. unfortunately, none of my appendages were visible... and, well... you know my mom.
