Play That Funky Music

The family is finally in good health again. Lily is back to sleeping 12 to 13 hours per night and even slept until 8:15am on Saturday, unfortunately it was back to 7am on Sunday but we aren't complaining!

Lily is enjoying school and successfully napping on her cot. She and her classmates fingerpainted trees on the classroom windows, however, we were informed that Lily could not wait to finish her tree limbs, as she did not enjoy getting her hands dirty. ;)

Friday brought some warm weather so we were able to enjoy some time on the playground and playing ball in the driveway. Lily loves driving her pooh plane outside.

Saturday was rainy and chilly so we enjoyed some time indoors and then got together with Grandpa Maurice and Grandma Phyllis for a delish Italian meal at Maggiano's. Sunday, Lily played with her kitchen set and the 120 pieces of food she now has for her food cart.

Lily has been perfecting her dance moves, she now bops her head and performs her signature dance move ("the squat") whenever she hears music, whether it be over the speakers in Old Navy, the radio in the car, on the television, or blaring from her cd player. She definitely likes to boogie!! She loves singing/humming Old MacDonald, the ABC song, and Row, Row, Row Your Boat. She also now says "Cheese" when you take her picture. She is repeating more and more of what we say, so I guess this is when we need to minimize the cursing (not Stuart or I!) and begin spelling certain words.;)

She now has her own toilet which flushes, talks, and sings so she can experiment, however, I suspect actual toilet training is a few months away, but maybe she will surprise us...

Enjoy the pics and video!!
