Dressing Up

Lily went out and about town for the first time today. Grandma Gail and one of her friends came over and took Marcy and Lily out to lunch. Everyone but Lily ate at the Panera Bread .. Lily ate in the linen section of Bed, Bath & Beyond. Marcy apparently was quick on her feet and managed to make a bottle, soothe Lily and feed her all in one swift motion. As you can see below, Lily got all dolled up for her big afternoon out. It was really her first time in something other than a onesie and she was very excited, okay, not really but we were. Lily also had her first trip to the Gap today, one of her Mom's favorite stores, but she apparently slept right through the visit.

Lily continues to sleep pretty well, giving us four hours of rest each night per sleep session. She is eating more and more and it seems like she is filling out a little bit. Next big milestone will either be her eating a full four ounce bottle or her umbilical cord falling off. Any guess as to what will happen first?

Cousin Emilie arrived tonight and will provide a helpful second set of hands for the next little while.

Lily in a big girl dress for the first time.

Out and about in her stroller.

More of the same.

Back home in the comfort of the bouncy seat.

That is just about the cutest baby I've ever seen! Have fun with cousin Emilie. Cousin Steph is a little jealous and can't wait to meet that baby soon!

We're all a little jealous...but we will get there soon! The pictures are great and the one with Em is really great! We are so happy that Lily got all gussied up for her outing but you must work on her appreciation of Gap as we are all Gap girls - even Bubbie - 4 generations - what a great commercial. Anyways, our little princess may transfer her love of shopping to your little princess (watch out!!)... Have fun in Lily Land!! Love, D
