Dr. Feelgood

After this morning's excitement the rest of the day moved along just swimmingly. Lily had her first foray out of the house today to go to the the pediatrician office. Her appointment with the nurse went perfectly. Lily has dropped a bit of her birth weight and is down to 6 pounds, 9 ounces. They said that it is perfectly normal and anticipate her getting back to her weight by her two week old visit next Friday. No sign of jaundice and everything else seems to be normal.

Lily continues to eat well and act cute. She is in bed but it sounds, from the monitor, that she will be getting up soon for her next feeding. She is still eating around 2 oz. but the doctor's office did not seem particularly concerned about that yet.

Marcy is doing well but was very tired tonight and is in bed resting up for another big day tomorrow.

P.S. -- Happy New Year. We are off to a great start.
