Dance to the Music

Post 399 ... I think we are beginning to run out of material.

A typical week in Lily and Jack and world. It was busy with Lily's school book fair which Marcy coordinated - it was a tremendous volunteer effort on her part. Lily and Jack bought numerous books and have reading materia for many weeks to come.

On Wednesday night we had out first parent teacher conference of the year with Lily's teacher. Lily is thriving in school - her reading is excellent, her math is going well and she gets along with all her classmates. It was a great report from her teacher.

On Wednesday we also had a visit from Great Uncle Mike who was in town visiting Great Yellow Grandma (Marcy's Grandma). Mike and Grandma Gail and Grandpa Tom and Aunt Kelly all visited for dinner. The kids had a great time.

Thursday and Friday were half days for Lily so she had a mix of play dates and time with Marcy. On Friday night we had an international potluck dinner and Jack's school that was a lot of fun.

Saturday was the last day of soccer - Lily and Jack both finished out their seasons in style. Much improvement all around. On Saturday evening we finished up watching the Star Wars movies - needless to say Jack is completely obsessed.

On Sunday Lily and Jack headed out for breakfast with Grandpa Maurice and in the afternoon Jack had birthday party for his friend Stuart.

That is all for this week ...
