Marcy was out of town for a visit with some college friends so Lily and Jack and I kept busy with our usual repertoire of activities. On Friday afternoon Lily and I helped to set up her school's annual book fair. We followed that up with some pizza and a movie - Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
On Saturday we hung out around the house in the morning. In the afternoon we went to see Puss in Boots - or is Jack calls it Cat in Boots! Then we had Jack's soccer game and dinner out.
On Sunday the kids woke nice and early (not quite used to the time change) and we headed out for Lily to get a haircut. We ran some quick errands and came home to await Marcy's return. We were all glad to see her! We finished up the weekend with a visit with Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Maurice.
Back to school this morning for both ... see you next week.
