She had a busy week at school preparing Daddy's special Father's Day present, which was a handmade picture frame with a picture of Lily and Dad on the seadoo at the lake. Lily and Mom went to the pool one afternoon, and Lily spent most of the time in the big pool jumping in and wading around.
Friday, Mom and Lily dropped off Gypsy at Grandma Gail and Grandpa Tom's, then picked up Dad from work, and headed to New Jersey for Poppa Syd's 95th birthday party. Saturday morning, Grandpa Maurice, Mom, Dad, and Lily went to Van Saun park which had a small zoo and carousel. Later in the day, it was party time! Although she was the only kid in attendance, she kept herself very busy playing with balloons and hanging out with all of the party goers.
Sunday, we headed to New York City for a visit with Cousin Emilie at her new apartment, and went to the Children's Museum of Manhattan, where Lily checked out the Dora exhibit and other interactive exhibits - we had to drag her out of there! After a quick lunch, we headed home. Lily was thoroughly exhausted after the packed weekend and passed out just prior to reaching home.
This week at school marked the start of water play, and Lily was very excited about getting water in her eyes and hair, and running through the sprinkler.
Enjoy the many pics...
P.S. Happy Belated Father's Day, and Happy Belated 95th Birthday to Poppa Syd!! Lily also wants to send out Happy Anniversary wishes to Aunt Tracy and Uncle Stan who will celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary on Saturday - now if they could only get working on some little cousins...
