We started off the weekend with a field trip to pick up Daisy from doggy boot camp. Lily spent the day at school and Jack had a day with Beatrice. We picked Daisy up and she is like a new dog! She has mellowed out quite a bit and has learned lots of new commands.
Friday night was Lily's graduation and end of the year celebration @ school. (She started post grad work today.) It is hard to believe that her time in pre-school is coming to an end! She has been at the same school for three years now and she has grown up so much during that time. Both kids will be at the school together starting on Monday but it will be much different come the fall! With Jack starting school on Monday, it means that this will be our last week with Beatrice. She has been a wonderful caretaker for Jack and he will surely miss her as he moves on to school.
The graduation ceremony was followed by an end of the year party with a moon bounce and petting zoo. The kids had a great time, bounced a lot, petted some animals and got to use a bunch of hand sanitizer.
On Saturday we visited with friends Chris, Kristen, Wyatt and Owen. We took in a Milkshake concert and minor league baseball game.
Lily started off Sunday with breakfast with Grandpa Maurice. Then we were off to the pool and after being forced to leave to some inclement weather, Lily and I heeded off to see the new Shrek movie. She had a great time and enjoyed her first 3D movie.
On to the pictures and video ...

wow!! time sure passes quickly...Lily looked quite nostalgic thru the "ceremonies" and then perked up for the "celebrations"...I am sure she is ready for the challenges of a new school, new friends, new teachers and the hard work of Kindergarten! and Jack probably is ready for playing with lots of kids in the familiar school environment . But I am sure he will miss Beatrice! The kids are growing up! Teenage years are coming soon!
