Let's see what happened - in week one Lily finished an entire week of swimming lessons and is becoming quite the fish. She is getting more and more comfortable around the water and is really paying attention to her lessons and listening to her teachers. She loves going to the pool and seeing all of her friends. Jack has a good time at the pool as well. He swims a bit but he really just likes to walk around the pool deck and smile at everyone or say hello until they acknowledge him. Future politician or game show host, I say.
On Friday (the one before the 3rd of July), Jack had his 18 month appointment. All was normal and he has gained a bit of weight since the last visit. He is now 32 inches long and weighs in at 24 lbs. Slightly below the 50th percentile in both categories.
After Friday's trip to the doctor, Marcy, LIly and Jack set out for a nine days at the Lake. They had a great time visiting with Grandparents, cousins Allie, Alex, Davis and Casey, Aunts Kelly and Tracy and Uncle Stan. A good time was had by all and by the time I got down to the lake, everyone was tanned, relaxed and had eaten all of Gail's delicious chocolate chip cookies!
The weekend finished off with a bang - lots of fireworks and some more great weather. Lily's swimming continued to improve over the weekend and when she had swim lessons agin this morning she did fantastic.
Anyway, that is all for now. On to the pics ...
