Slide Away

Another week in Lily-land. Despite our best efforts, Lil is shy about walking on camera so this week's posting has no walking video. Instead, we have captured Lil's first trip down the slide at the neighborhood's tot lot. She loved it and something tells me that we will be spending a lot of time over there from now on while she goes up and down.

Saturday night we went for Mexican with Lil's friend Hayley and her parents. The two were perfect ladies during dinner and had a chance to play afterwards. They seemed to have a good time and I am sure another play date is around the corner.

Sunday was dinner at Grandma Gail and Grandpa Tom's office to bid a good trip to Aunt Tracy and Uncle Stan's big move to Colorado. Lil will miss them but know's they will be back to visit often.

That is all for now. See you next week.

Lily at the slide. The first trip down can be a bit overwhelming.

"Should I go?"

Trepidation.

A close up.

Video: On the Slide.

Video Two.

Pointing.

Getting ready to play catcher.

With her pal Hayley.

On this weekend's roadtrip we did not make the same mistake and Lil is vegging out in the car watching Baby Neptune.

With Grandpa Tom.

Lil at the scene of the bobblehead crime. No worries, they all survived.

That Youppie is a serious collector's item. I think it might be worth more 'sans' drool. We'll have to get you a matching one with a Habs jersey - his newly adopted team. Can't wait to take Lil to her first hockey game! Great pics! XoXo, Cuz Steph
