Later that evening, Lily experienced her first meeting with pavement. She was riding in her wagon, tried to stand up, and managed to fall out of the wagon. Fortunately, there were no major injuries and she recovered relatively quickly after the initial shock of the fall. The fall did leave a few marks - a bruise on her forehead, fortunately covered by her hair, a scrape on her nose, and a slight black eye.
Fortunately, the rest of the weekend was very relaxing and lots of fun, however, she tried to avoid all mirrors. She played with all of her new birthday toys, and enjoyed some strolls in the beautiful weather. Enjoy the pics...

Thanx so much for this week's blog with the terrific pics and the full description of Lily's fall...I will be flying out tomorrow to examine the injuries myself (just joking...)...hope the rest of the week is uneventful...didn't the doctor think that she is the cutest and smartest and most charming baby that he has ever met??? I am sure that he did...cuz we all think so!!! Kiss her toes for me... Love, D
