Not much else to report this week. Lily seems to have adjusted to her new classroom and likes all the big kid toys they have there. She is coming along with getting off the bottle and we are working on less pacifier reliance. As of now she gets her pacy when she sleeps or is in the car, hopefully, once she turns around in her car seat she will be down just when sleeping.
Speaking of turning around, Lily's First Birthday Extravaganza is coming up on Saturday. At 3:31 she will be officially 1. The implications are huge as we can no longer tease her for being less than a year, she gets to have her car seat turned around and she gets to get her first really huge sugar rush when she devours her very own cupcake. I am sure the pictures for next week will be festive.
Until then, enjoy the movie.
P.S. - Grandma Gail has been in the hospital this week for some surgery and Lily just wants to send her some good wishes to feel better soon.
Lily taking her first step.

Chowing down at the game.

Engrossed in the action.

Lily loves water bottles. No worries, she is a bit warm here, not sunburnt. She had plenty of screen on.

Taking a nap at the end of the game.

i know the sunburn comment was directed at my mother... you are learning... preemptively staving off criticism and concern is a talent i have mastered... welcome to the club.
and welcome lily to the walking club. once you have mastered it you will never go back! (you can get into so much more trouble when you are on two feet.) the multiple attempts made the eventual step that much sweeter. and there will be many more to come (hopefully for her sake not all caught on video). see you soon.
loves, e.
What happened to my first comment form this morning...it never appeared...so now I have to remember what I said...Ok...it went like this...
It is a good thing that you mentioned the sunscreen because I had a heart palpitation when I saw Lily's red little face! (You all know me sooo well!) I get the same way on a hot day of golf...the walking video is a real milestone captured forever....so sweet! The last picture is a prize...exhausted! Only a few more days until we see her and after our quick trip in and out, she probably think "what was that???".Try to prepare her ...I don't know if you can...I am packing now and going to the airport soon(just joking!)...still sewing the quilt (not joking!)...Love, D
