Bring on the Night

Sorry for the late post, things have been a little busy around here. Happy Belated Halloween to everyone!! Lily started off Halloween morning dressing up as a princess and participating in a school parade and a sing-a-long of Halloween songs - Lily has been singing all of the songs at home, although she became a little shy on stage when it came to singing in front of all of the parents. After school, it was time to dress up again for trick-or-treating. Lily loved going from house to house and seeing what they gave her as a treat - her favorite treat was definitely the lollipops and the bag of cheetos - Lily does not like chocolate so Mom and Dad have been gorging since then.

On Friday, Lily went to her last gymnastics class for this session, and was awarded a medal. No worries, the new session starts this Friday, hopefully we can get some pics in the next few weeks. After gymnastics, Mom and Lily went to lunch with Grandma Gail and Grandma's friend Ms. Linda. We headed back to G & G's house so Lily could have a sleepover while Mom went to a party and Dad went to a hockey game. Lily had a great time spending the night and playing the next day, and Mom and Dad had a great time sleeping in!

In other news, Lily's brother is scheduled to be born on Friday, December 7 via c-section. We have yet to receive official confirmation, but it looks like (and feels like) the little guy might be in the proper position, opposed to his breech sister. So we have just over 4 weeks until the little guy makes an appearance!! Lily seems to be getting more and more excited about her baby brother and is constantly talking about him and what she is going to do with him - we hope she won't be too disappointed when he fails to jump right on the back of her glider.
