Friday, Lily celebrated St. Patrick's Day by wearing green - pics below. That night Mom and Dad had a rehearsal dinner to attend, so Grandpa Maurice and Grandma Phyllis came over to babysit. Lots of fun was had, and they ate a fine meal at Italian Market - apparently Lily really liked the lasagna.
Saturday morning we headed to Grandpa Tom's and Grandma Gail's for an overnight visit so Mom and Dad could attend Tiffany and Steven's wedding - congrats to them!! Lily had a very busy and fun time with the grandparents, and slept through the night thankfully. Mom and Dad enjoyed a rare Sunday morning of sleeping in!! After almost 12 hours of sleep, Lily got in some morning play and took a mid-morning nap with Grandpa in his chair - no doubt, both were snoring - and as evidenced by the pics below also took a snoozer on Dad later in the afternoon.
Lily met her new classmate Bradley today, he is only a month younger and has very red hair. He officially begins on Monday when they move to the new classroom. She took her first nap today at school without a pacifier with only minimal whining. Mom and Dad, however, have not been so brave to go "pacy" free, maybe in a few weeks.
Some recent developments: We forgot to mention last week that Lily's lower incisors broke through. Lily loves Blue's Clues, and dances and points to the television saying "Bue" (no 'L') when she wants to watch. She loves to brush her teeth, well she at least loves to hold her toothbrush but won't put it in her mouth, she just brushes her mouth, and screams when we try to brush her teeth. She also enjoys taking her 'baby" for a walk in the stroller, and feeds her with a spoon while baby is sitting in Lily's booster seat - we don't have a name for 'baby" yet...
Enjoy the few pics we took, and I think some video will be added at some point...have a good week!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

"I'm tired Mom...pick me up."

"Any takers for green milk?"

"Goodness, my door is quite dusty."

Drinking out of a big girl glass. (Yes, Mom was close by making sure she did not drop the glass.)

Exhausted.

So comfy.
A little video from school today.
