All is going well. Lily seems to be over the whole sleeping thing and really digging the being held thing so she has been quite an handful this week. We still love her though ... for now :)
She is eating well and seems to be getting on a schedule (knock on wood). Marcy is doing well and Gypsy seems to enjoy showing Lily, by example, how to do things that dogs do.
Enjoy the pictures.

Lily at her first playdate with her friend Hayley. Hayley is one week older than Lily and is really happy about having to make friends with her parent's friend's daughter who is so much younger than her.

They had about enough of sitting in the chair at this point.

This is Lily with Hayley's older brother Cole.

Lily spending some quality time with her Uncle Stan earlier this week. This may have been the first time Stan has seen her awake ... he always seems to arrive just as she is passing out.

One of the few quiet moments around here. The pacifer seems to be a key to getting her calm these days. I am not sure why she doesn't just tell us what she wants.

One last mugshot prior to getting her nails cut for the first time. Since the nail clipping, she has gotten a little less Frankenstein-ish.

Going out for a walk.

Aww yes, the wonderfull first 6 months of walking around in a fog while you get next to no sleep and the whole world turns upside down as you all readjust to a new one int he house. :) It is a trial but more then worth it. your kids looks wonderful. Cherish them.
okay ... well I am not sure who posted the comment above. I appreciate the kind wishes but just so as to not confuse anyone, we only have one kid ... for now ... or maybe we will just wait to see how this one turns out before comitting to any more :)
Quelle belle surprise!!! Which means "what a nice surprise" for my Saturday morning check-in on the blog. Love those pictures - and she looks so cute in the purple stripes from Gap. Cole looks pretty happy holding Lily - I guess he is used to having one of those packages around. He is also very handsome...perhaps, one day....Of course, your commentary adds alot to the experience of seeing the photos...your humour is great. Maybe you could have a second career as a "freelance" writer like Dave Barry and focus on your family as the subject. Well, I think that you are busy enough at the moment...keep the idea on the back burner. Love, D
I want more lily!
all my love, e.
