Wednesday we were off to Colorado - Lil's umpteenth flight and Jack's second were pretty uneventful. Jack and I both had really bad colds all week but he handled the flight like a trooper and was all smiles. Lily continues to be a great big sister and let Jack watch her movies with her and tried to keep him entertained when he got a little cranky.
Once we got to Colorado, Jack and Lily had a great time and got a chance to get to know their new cousin. We had all had fun exploring Tracy and Stan's area. We all got to visit the ski resorts and the towns around where they live. Thursday and Friday Aunt Tracy drove us around but we were limited a bit by some snow flurry storms and some children unadjusted to the time change. On Saturday and Sunday we went to Breckenridge where there were some activities set up for kids. Lily had a great time and was a brave girl as she played on inflatable slides, a bungee jump and a moon bounce. She also got her face painted and had a really great time. Jack had a good time watching and getting ready for his turn.
Needless to say, it was a busy few days but we are all looking forward to going back to visit next winter for some skiing and winter fun. Many thanks to our gracious hosts who put up with stuffy noses and a very full house.
Onto the pictures and video. Have a great week. For more pics of our trip, go to Tracy and Stan's blog, there is a link to your right, otherwise click here.
P.S. - Jack and I are feeling better. Many thanks to Marcy who took good care of Jack and put up with me for the past few days while I was of little help.
P.P.S. - Lily and Jack wanted to shout a belated anniversary wish to Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Maurice.
